To conclude black history week at St. Anthony was a small activity during a school rally. For the activity, students were stamped with different colors. The students that received a pink stamp were considered the African American people and the people that received a green stamp were the white people. All the students that received a green stamp got to choose what color otter pop they wanted and the people that received a pink stamp were given a color. Even though this was a small activity, it was a chance to show people how unfair society was toward black people.
It was our pleasure to provide the students of St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School with a fun way to learn about the contributions that African Americans have made to our society.
*Ivana Vega and Cayla Cambra were the chairpeople of this event*
