Requirements

National Honor Society

1. Students must be Sophomores or Juniors.
2. Students GPA are reviewed by NHS Moderator/Advisor and Academic Dean to determine if they meet the 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement.
3. Students who meet the 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement, receive a letter from the National Honor Society inviting them to fill out an application to be considered for induction into the National Honor Society.
4. Students will then have a one on one interview with either the National Honor Society Moderator or the Faculty Council.
5. Student Applications are then reviewed and discussed by the National Honor Society Faculty Council. The National Honor Society Faculty Council then determines which students are prepared to be inducted into the National Honor Society.
6. Students who will be inducted receive a letter congratulating them on being selected to join the National Honor Society. Students and their parents are then invited to participate and view the induction ceremony.
7. During the induction ceremony new inductees pledge to adhere and be exemplars of the principles of the National Honor Society.

National Junior Honor Society

1. Students must be in the 8th or 9th grade.
2. Students GPA are reviewed by NJHS Moderator/Advisor and Academic Dean to determine if they meet the 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement.
3. Students who meet the 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement, receive a letter from the National Junior Honor Society inviting them to fill out an application to be considered for induction into the National Junior Honor Society.
